Ryan P. Walton · Independent Candidate for U.S. House
Vermont has a rare independent tradition. Let’s keep it alive.
In a country where most elections are controlled by two national parties, Vermont has shown that voters can still choose a different path.
Keep Vermont Independent is about listening first, asking better questions, and making sure Vermont has an independent voice that answers to Vermonters.
Vermont should not be treated as a guaranteed vote for anyone.
This campaign is not built around telling Vermonters what to think. It is built around asking what Vermont needs.

What should an Independent voice for Vermont focus on?
What issues matter most to you? What is Washington missing? What should an Independent representative from Vermont be focused on?
Whether it is housing, cost of living, schools, farms, veterans, small businesses, healthcare, taxes, government transparency, or something else entirely — we want to hear from you.
About Ryan
Ryan P. Walton is running as an Independent candidate for U.S. House.
Ryan lives and works in Vermont, where he has spent years building small businesses, restoring housing, working with tenants, solving practical problems, and seeing firsthand how hard it can be for ordinary people to get ahead.
This campaign is not about joining the political class. It is about building an independent campaign that stays close to Vermont, listens to regular people, and focuses on practical work over party theater.
Vermont should stay independent.
Help build the fall campaign
We are not funded by a national party machine.
That means this campaign depends on regular Vermonters helping a little at a time. Donations help pay for printing, signs, mail, events, voter outreach, gas, and the basic work of reaching people across the state.
If you believe Vermont should have an Independent choice this fall, please consider making a contribution.
